INTRODUCTION
Play your favorite games, surf the
web, and watch your DVD or computer movies on a 35" big
screen! All you need is a few basic engineering skills and some
luck in finding the needed parts on the "parts list"
of this project.
As always, some projects vary with the parts supplied, and
your knowledge of simple electronics or engineering is required.
If you have any questions about this project or any others, just
EMAIL me your question or comments and I will try to answer them.
At no time should you use your dad's computer for this project
or any other experiment, and take your time when shopping for
the things you'll need to complete each project. Start working
in "steps", and write everything down.
This is a BIG project and requires you to have the room on
your desk or whatever. The screen size is a great thing, but
it needs ALOT of room to operate, and you'll have to set your
computer so as to accomodate the limited length of the monitor's
I/O , and power cables.
This Big Screen Monitor is just a 'second-hand' approach to
having the more expensive computer "projectors" that
are $2,000 or higher. The quality is not the best compared to
the expensive projectors out there, but it will do just fine
until you can afford better. Meanwhile, your usage of this monitor
will 'spoil you' in notime, and it may even have you building
another for your friends; once they see and feel the power of
A Big Screen Monitor!
